RESOLUTION NO. 2026-79R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING A CONTRACT WITH MODELI <br /> COMMERCIAL VEHICLES, THROUGH THE STATE OF OKLAHOMA <br /> COOPERATIVE PURCHASING PROGRAM, FOR THE PURCHASE OF <br /> TWO 26-FOOT, 16-PASSENGER BUSES FOR USE IN THE CITY'S <br /> PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICE IN THE AMOUNT OF <br /> $356,656.00, OF WHICH $1,217.00 IS TO BE PAID BY THE CITY AND <br /> THE BALANCE TO BE PAID BY THE FEDERAL TRANSIT <br /> ADMINISTRATION AND THE CAPITAL AREA METROPOLITAN <br /> PLANNING ORGANIZATION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, <br /> OR HER DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF <br /> THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. A contract with Modell Commercial Vehicles through the State of Oklahoma <br /> Cooperative Purchasing Program, for the purchase of two 26-foot, 16-passenger busses for use in <br /> the city's public transportation service in the amount of$356,656.00, of which $1,217.00 is to be <br /> paid by the city and the balance to be paid by the Federal Transit Administration and the Capital <br /> Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, is hereby approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the contract on <br /> behalf of the city. <br /> PART 3.
