RESOLUTION NO. 2026-96R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS AWARDING A CONTRACT TO GREYSTONE <br /> CONSTRUCTION TO REMODEL AND EXPAND FIRE STATION NO. 3, <br /> LOCATED AT 2420 HUNTER ROAD, INCLUDING THE ADDITION OF <br /> AN APPARATUS BAY,WORKOUT/FITNESS ROOM,STORAGE AREAS, <br /> NEW DRIVEWAYS, AND INTERIOR RENOVATION IN THE AMOUNT <br /> OF $5,635,343.00; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR HER <br /> DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE THE CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE <br /> CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. A contract with Greystone Construction for the renovation of Fire Station No. <br /> 3, located at 2420 Hunter Road,to include the addition of an apparatus bay,workout/fitness room, <br /> storage areas, new driveways, and interior renovation in the amount of$5,635,343.00, is hereby <br /> approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, or her designee, is authorized to execute the contract on <br /> behalf of the city. <br /> PART 3.
