RESOLUTION 2003 -1 R6 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AWARDING ANNUAL CONTRACTS TO NATIONAL WATERWORKS, FERGUSON WATERWORKS, MUNICIPAL PIPE, AND ACT PIPE AND SUPPLY FOR THE PROVISION OF MISCELLANEOUS REPAIR PARTS FOR THE WATER/WASTEWATER UTILITY DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The award of a contract to National Water Works for the provision of miscellaneous repair parts (IFB 23-055), Section #1, Restraints, Items #1-31; Section #2, Hydrants, Items #32-50; Section # 6, Dressers, Items #252-310; and Section #7 Tapping Saddles, Items #311 - 351 and Items #353-362 in the total amount of $83,020.55 is approved. PART 2. The award of a contractto Ferguson Waterworks, Inc. forthe provision of miscellaneous repair parts (IFB 23-055) Section #3, Valves, Items #51-54 and Items #56-76 in the total amount of $18,271.00 is approved. PART 3. The award of a contract to Municipal Pipe for the provision of miscellaneous repair parts (IFB 23-055) Section #4, Brass, Items #77-97, Items #99-140 and Items #142-149 in the total amount of $12,220.63 is approved. PART 4. The award of a contract to ACT Pipe & Supply for the provision of miscellaneous repair parts (IFB 23-055) Section #5, Repair Clamps, Items #150-246 in the total amount of $6,673.71 is approved. PART 5. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuéhl, is authorized to execute contract documents on behalf of the City. PART 6. after its passage.
