<br />17 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-5lR <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, ~1ENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF 1.31. ACRES, HAYS <br />COUNTY, TEXAS, LOCATED ON THE SOUTHEAST SIDE OF THE 700 <br />BLOCK OF WEST HOPKINS FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO <br />OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL DISTRICT; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTI VE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on February 17, 1987, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding <br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master <br />Plan from Low Density Residential to Office and Professional <br />District of 1.31 acres, located on the southeast side of the 700 block <br />of West Hopkins, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Commissions did, on February 17, 1987, consider said request <br />and voted to approve the same and have recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />May, 1987, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Mas ter <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That 1.31 acres more particularly described in <br />Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />purposes, located on the southeast side of the 700 Block of West <br />Hopkins Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in an area <br />shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master Plan of the City <br />of San Marcos as Low Density Residential shall be shown on said map as <br />Office and Professional District as more particularly described in <br />Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br />purposes. <br /> <br />PART 2.
