<br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />l\1ARCOS, TEXAS, MENDING SECTION 3 OF THAT ORDINANCE WHICH
<br />REGULATES AND RESTRICTS THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS,
<br />STRUCTURES AND LAND, DATED JUNE 13, 1984 (VOL. 66) BY
<br />ZONING THE FOLLOWING TRACTS: TRACT 3: BEING 1.500 ACRES
<br />OF LAND, AND APPROXIl\1ATELY 0.422 ACRES OUT OF THE LYDIA
<br />GLASGOW SURVEY, ABSTRCT NO. 188 AND APPROXIMATELY 1.078
<br />ACRES OUT OF THE THOl\1AS FORSITH SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO. 173,
<br />AND ALSO BEING OUT OF 16.08 ACRE TRACT DESCRIBED IN VOLUl\1E
<br />320, PAGES 499-505 OF THE DEED RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY,
<br />TEXAS; TRACT 4: BEING 1.500 ACRES OF LAND, AND BEING

<br />THE DEED RECORDS OF HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS LOCATED ON THE
<br />SOUTH SIDE OF RANCH ROAD 12 WEST OF COUNTY ROAD
<br />226 INTERSECTION FROM II PO" (PREDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT)
<br />TO "SR" (SUBURBAN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT); AND DECLARING AN
<br />EFFECTI VE DATE.

<br />WHEREAS, on June 2,1987 the Zoning Commission of the City of San
<br />Marcos held a public hearing regarding a request to change the zoning
<br />from II PD II (Predevelopment District) to "SR" (Suburban Residential
<br />District) of Tra~~: being 1.500 acres of land, and being
<br />approximately 0.422 acres out of the Lydia Glasgow Survey, Abstract
<br />No. 188 and approximately 1.078 acres out of the Thomas Forsith
<br />Survey, Abstract No. 173; Tract 4: being 1.500 acres of land, and
<br />being approximately 0.13 acres out of the Lydia Glasgow Survey,
<br />abstract No. 188, and approximately 1.37 acres out of the Thomas
<br />Forsith Survey, Abstract No. 173, and Tract 5: being 1.500 acres
<br />of land out of the Thomas Forsith Survey, Abstract no. 173, and
<br />also being out also being out of a out of the Thomas Forsith Survey,
<br />Abstract No. 173, to the City of San l\1arcos, Hays County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said
<br />Commission did, on June 2, 1987, consider said
<br />and voted to approve the same and has recommended
<br />request be approved by the City Council

<br />Ordinance, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of San l\1arcos
<br />pertaining to amendments have been met; and,

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following ordinance is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

<br />MARCOS,

<br />TEXAS:

<br />SECTION 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located in San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which was
<br />classified II PD II (Predevelopment District) upon its annexation to the
<br />City of San Marcos on July 28,1986, henceforth shall be zoned as
<br />"SR" (Suburban Residential District):
