RESOLUTION NO. 2025-215R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF <br /> AN APPLICATION WITH THE TEXAS WATER DEVELOPMENT <br /> BOARD (TWDB) SEEKING FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IN AN AMOUNT <br /> NOT TO EXCEED $2,500,000.00 TO PROVIDE FOR THE COSTS OF <br /> DESIGN AND FINANCIAL SERVICES RELATED TO SAN MARCOS <br /> GAUGES FOR PHASE 2 CITY-WIDE FEWS PROJECT; DESIGNATING <br /> AN AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY FOR PURPOSES <br /> OF FURNISHING INFORMATION AND EXECUTING REQUIRED <br /> DOCUMENTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PREPARATION AND <br /> FILING OF THE APPLICATION; DESIGNATING FIRMS AND <br /> INDIVIDUALS AUTHORIZED AND DIRECTED TO AID AND ASSIST <br /> THE CITY IN THE PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION OF THE <br /> APPLICATION AND APPEAR ON BEHALF OF AND REPRESENT THE <br /> CITY BEFORE ANY HEARING HELD BY TWDB ON THE <br /> APPLICATION; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. An application is hereby approved and authorized to be filed with the Texas <br /> Water Development Board (T)vVDB) seeking financial assistance in an amount not to exceed <br /> $2,500,000.00 to provide for the costs of design and financial services related to the City of San <br /> Marcos Gauges for Phase 2 of City-wide FEWS. <br /> PART 2. The Director of Engineering and CIP, Shaun Condor, is hereby designated <br /> the authorized representative of the City of San Marcos for purposes of furnishing such <br /> information and executing such documents as may be required in connection with the preparation <br /> and filing of such application for financial assistance and the rules of the Texas Water <br /> Development Board. <br /> PART 3. The following firms and individuals are hereby authorized and directed to <br /> aid and assist the City in the preparation and submission of such application and appear on behalf <br /> of and represent the City of San Marcos before any hearing held by the Texas Water Development <br /> Board on such application, to wit: <br /> Financial Advisor: Dan Wegmiller <br /> Specialized Public Finance <br /> Engineer: To Be Determined In The Future <br /> Bond Counsel: J.
