<br />144 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1987-83R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP) <br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF 1.074, MORE OR <br />LESS ACRES OF LAND OUT OF A 16.08 ACRE TRACT OF THE CITY <br />OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS DESCRIBED IN VOLUME <br />320, PAGES 499-505 OF HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, LOCATED ON THE NORTHSIDE OF RANCH ROAD <br />12 FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO COMMERCIAL; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on May 19, 1987, the Joint Planning and Zoning <br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding <br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of the Master <br />Plan from Low Density Residential to Commercial of 1.074 acres of land <br />out of a 16.08 acre tract, Hays County, Texas; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said <br />Commissions did, on May 19,1987, consider said request and <br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such <br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the <br />July, 1987, regarding such request; and, <br /> <br />13 <br /> <br />day <br /> <br />WHEREAS, all requirements <br />amendments have been met; and, <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Master <br /> <br />Plan <br /> <br />pertaining <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the <br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public <br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> <br />SAN <br /> <br />MARCOS, <br /> <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property <br />located on the Northside of Ranch Road 12, San Marcos, Hays County, <br />Texas, which is in an area shown on the Future Land Use Plan (Map) of <br />the Master Plan of the City of San Marcos as Low <br />Density Residential shall be shown on said map as Commercial: <br /> <br />Being 1.074 acres of land out of a 16.08 acre tract as described <br />in Volume 320, Pages 499-505 of the Deed Records of Hays County, <br />Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br />BEGINNING: At the Southwest corner of this tract, said point <br />being S 87 degrees 27'00" E 466.02 feet from the Southwest <br />corner of the above-mentioned tract; <br /> <br />THENCE: N 02 degrees 33' E 312.06 feet to the Northwest corner <br />of this tract; <br /> <br />THENCE: S 77 degrees 45' 12" E <br />corner of this tract; <br /> <br />158.94 <br /> <br />feet to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Northeast <br /> <br />THENCE: S 02 degrees 33' W 285.27 feet to the Southeast corner <br />of this tract; <br /> <br />THENCE: With the North line of R.M. Highway <br />degrees 27' W 156.69 feet to the Point of <br />containing 1.074 acres of land, more or less. <br /> <br />No. 12, N 87 <br />Beg inning and <br /> <br />PART 2.
