<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
<br />MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE PLAN (MAP)
<br />OF THE MASTER PLAN OF SAID CITY, OF LOTS 454-457 AND
<br />493-498; BLOCK 28 OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION OF THE CITY OF
<br />SAN l\1ARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN VOLUME 59,
<br />PAGES 184-185 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS AND LOTS
<br />452A AND 453B OF THE RESUBDIVISION OF LOT 452 AND 453;
<br />BLOCK 28, WESTOVER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS,
<br />TEXAS, ACCORDING TO SAID ADDITION OF RECORD IN VOLUME 59,
<br />PAGES 184-185, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAID SUBDIVISION
<br />RECORDED IN VOLUME 3, PAGE 70 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT
<br />RECORDS, SAN fvIARCOS, TEXAS, LOCATED IN THE VICINITY OF
<br />HAZELTON STREET; ALLEN STREET; MARLTON STREET AND FURMAN
<br />STREET FROM LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL TO MEDIUM DENSITY
<br />RESIDENTIAL; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

<br />~^mEREAS, on May 19, 1987, the Joint Planni ng and Zon i ng
<br />Commissions of the City of San Marcos held a public hearing regarding
<br />a request to amend the Future Land Use Plan (Ì"lap) of the ~'Iaster
<br />Plan from Low Density Residential to Medium Density Residential of
<br />Lots 454-457 and 493-498; Block 28 of the Westover Addition and lots
<br />452A and 453B of the Resubdivision of lot 452 and 453, Block 28,
<br />~~stover Addition, Hays County, Texas; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, subsequent to said public hearing on said date, said
<br />Commissions did, on May 19,1987, consider said request and
<br />voted to approve the same and have recommended that such
<br />request be approved by the City Council of said City; and,
<br />

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council held a public hearing on the
<br />July, 1987, regarding such request; and,
<br />

<br />amendments have been met; and,

<br />WHEREAS, said City Council hereby finds and determines that the
<br />adoption of the following resolution is in the interest of the public
<br />health, morals, welfare and safety; now, therefore,

<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF

<br />PART 1. That the following described tract of real property
<br />located in the vicinity of Hazelton Street; Allen Street; Marlton
<br />Street and Furman Street, San Marcos, Hays County, Texas, which is in
<br />an area shown on the Fu ture Land Use Plan (i'V1ap) 0 f the Mas ter Plan 0 f
<br />the City of San Marcos as Low Density Residential shall be shown on
<br />said map as Medium Density Residential:

<br />LOTS 454-457 AND 493-498; BLOCK 28 OF THE WESTOVER ADDITION OF
<br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, HAYS COUNTY, TEXAS, AS RECORDED IN
<br />VOLUME 59, PAGES 184-185 OF THE HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS AND
<br />LOTS 452A AND 453B OF THE RESUBDIVISION OF LOT 452 AND 453;
<br />BLOCK 28, WESTOVER ADDITION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS,
<br />ACCORDING TO SAID ADDITION OF RECORD IN VOLUME 59, PAGES
<br />184-185, HAYS COUNTY DEED RECORDS, SAID SUBDIVISION RECORDED IN
<br />VOLUME 3, PAGE 70 OF THE HAYS COUNTY PLAT RECORDS.

<br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect
<br />from and after its passage.
