ORDINANCE NO. 2026-27 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS APPOINTING WILLIAM HENRY AS THE <br /> PRESIDING MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE FOR THE SAN <br /> MARCOS MUNICIPAL COURT OF RECORD TO FILL THE <br /> VACANCY ENDING OCTOBER 31, 2026 AND CONTINUING FOR <br /> A TWO-YEAR TERM THEREAFTER; INCLUDING <br /> PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS; AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> SECTION 1. William Henry is hereby appointed as presiding judge of the San <br /> Marcos Municipal Court of Record to fill the vacancy created by the retirement of the <br /> previous judge for the remainder of the term of office of the previous judge that expires on <br /> October 31, 2026. <br /> SECTION 2. William Henry is hereby appointed as presiding judge of the San <br /> Marcos Municipal Court of Record for a two-year term beginning November 1, 2026, <br /> SECTION 2.
