229. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2004- 28 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF THREE PICKUP TRUCKS FOR <br />THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FROM PHILPOTT <br />MOTORS, INC. THROUGH THE TEXAS BUILDING AND PROCUREMENT <br />COMMISSION; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS WITH THE STATE ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. The purchase of three pickup trucks from Philpott Motors, Inc. through <br />the Texas Building and Procurement Commission for the Parks and Recreation <br />Department for a total of $52,440.00 is approved. <br /> <br /> PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl is authorized to <br />execute appropriate purchasing documents with the State on behalf of the City. <br /> <br /> PART 3.
