15 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AUGUST 28, 1979 Present: Mayor Council Members John A. Hansen I Ted Breihan Robert L. Joe Froh, Carlos Rodriguez, Joe Garza, Frances Emery~ Terry Roberts, Don Butler, Jack Cates, John Stokes, Gary Bond, and The Mayor called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. The minutes of the regular meeting held August 13, 1979 were approved on motion of Mr. James and second of Mr. Tenorio. The minutes of the special meeting held August 20, 1979 were approved on motion of Mr. Cavazos and second of Mr. Tenorio, with Mr. Breihan abstaining from the vote. I I The Mayor read the caption of an ordinance as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE PRICE AND CONDITIONS OF THE SALE BY THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS OF PART OF PARCEL NO. 10-1, DESCRIBED FURTHER ON EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO, LOCATED WITHIN THE TEX. A-6, NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM AREA, TO JOHNNY L. FINCH AND JAMES DONNELLEY; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A WARRANTY DEED TO JOHNNY L. FINCH AND JAMES DONNELLEY. Mr. Hyatt moved the ordinance be adopted on third and final reading. Mr. Tenorio seconded the motion which passed unanimously. I The Mayor introduced for consideration requests for temporary mobile home permits. Mr. Cavazos reported that Mr. & Mrs. Greenwood, applicants for a permit to locate a mobile home on Lot N, Block 4 of B. R. Breeding addition, had not understood that there was a fifteen foot easement on the property and wished consideration of their request be postponed until they could get more information. Mr. Cavazos moved consideration of the approval of the temporary mobile home permit be tabled. Mr. Hyatt seconded the motion which passed unanimously. Mr. Hyatt moved to approve a temporary permit for a mobile home to be located on Lot 3, Block II of the D. S. Combs addition, 517 Valley Street. Mr. Cavazos seconded the motion which passed unanimously. The permit will be issued to Mr. Arturo Machado.
