Tuttle <br /> <br />Visitors: <br /> <br />Mrs. Jerri Veidt <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. <br />Members of the Council signed Consent to Meeting. <br /> <br />The Mayor announced he had reappointed Dr. Ni Ion Tallant as <br />City Health Officer. He recommended that Thomas Colgin and <br />Dr. Joe H. Wilson be reappointed as Commissioners of the <br />Urban Renewal Agency (local Public Agency). Alderman Ruiz <br />moved that the Council concur in the appointment of Dr. Tallant, <br />and that Thomas Colgin and Dr. Joe Wilson be reappointed to the <br />Local Public Agency. Alderman Pool seconded the motion, which <br />passed unanimously. <br /> <br />An annexation petition from Mrs,. Cora L. Beckma~was brought <br />before the Council. Councilmen examined the plat that accomp- <br />anied the petition for annexation. Alderman Serur moved that <br />the Council formally receive the petition; Alderman Pool second- <br />ed the motion, which carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Council approval was given the expenditure of approximately <br />$700 for drafting and engineering aid services in planning <br />sewer extensions and other capital improvements. Mr. Fuller <br />explained that the budget provided for such services, and the <br />draftsman had resigned to take other employment. <br /> <br />Councilmen studied drawings of the San Marcos Academy area. <br />They discussed with the City Manager parking problems on Academy <br />Street, and their possible solution.
