<br />71 <br /> <br />Resolution 1981-39R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE CITY OF AUSTIN'S STANDARD <br />DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION; ADOPTING <br />SAID DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR USE IN THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of San Marcos, Texas, Jim <br />Sykes, has recommended the City of Austin, Texas, specifications and <br />standard drawings for use by the City of San Marcos Public Works Depart- <br />ment and on items contracted out by that Department; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas, wishes <br />to adopt said standards and specifications; now, therefore: <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the City of Austin, Texas, specifications and standard <br />drawings for construction, a copy of which shall be kept on file in the <br />office of the City Secretary of the City of San Marcos, are hereby adopted <br />for use by the Public Works Department of the City of San Marcos and on <br />items contracted out by that Department. <br /> <br />PART 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its adoption. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this <br /> <br />26th <br /> <br />day of <br /> <br />May <br /> <br />, 1981. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Berry R.
