I I I RESOLUTION NO. 1979-44-R 138 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN SAID CITY AND S. A. GARZA ENGINEERS, INC. OF AUSTIN, TEXAS, FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED FOR THE CENTRE STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT AND THE ROOSEVELT STREET/PATTON STREET PROJECTS, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID CONTRACT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos desires to have certain street paving, curb and gutter, drainage appurtenances, and other amenities necessary in such improvements in what will be known as the Centre Street Reconstruction Project and the Roosevelt Street/ Patton Street Project; and, WHEREAS, S. A. Garza Engineers, Inc. of Austin, Texas, was selected on April 9, 1979, to provide engineering services in connection with the above-described project; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That the contract between said City and S. A. Garza Engineers, Inc. for engineering services in connection with the Centre Street Reconstruction Project and the Roosevelt Street/Patton Street Project, a copy of said contract being attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes, be, "arid is hereby, in all things approved. PART 2. That the Mayor, Mr. John A. Hansen, or his successor, be, and is hereby, authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the City of San Marcos. PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage.
