<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />149 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1978-44-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, ACCEPT- <br />ING A CITIZEN PARTICIPATION PLAN FOR <br />SOLICITING CITIZEN INVOLVEMENT IN THE <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the federal government requires local citizen <br />involvement in the development of the Community Development <br />Program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos also <br />endorses the concept of citizen participation; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the Citizen Participation Plan, a copy of which <br />is attached as Exhibit A, be, and is hereby, in all things <br />approved. <br /> <br />PART 2.
