<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1978-42 <br /> <br />63 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, REPEALING <br />PARAGRAPH "D" OF THAT ORDINANCE CODIFIED <br />AS SECTION 12-7 IN THE CODE OF ORDINANCES <br />WHICH SECTION IS ENTITLED "GARBAGE <br />COLLECTION CHARGES BY CITY-FROM RESIDENCES", <br />AND IS FILED IN VOLUME 46, PAGE 92 OF THE <br />MINUTES OF THE CITY COUNCIL, SAID PARAGRAPH <br />"D" PERTAINING ONLY TO "BRUSH" COLLECTION; <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY; AND ESTABLISHING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, costs of providing a City brush collection service <br />have escalated and budgetary considerations govern the need <br />to eliminate such services; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That Paragraph "D" of Section 12-7 of the Code of <br />Ordinances of the City of San Marcos, providing for City <br />brush collection services be, and is hereby, repealed, <br />thereby eliminating such collection services. <br /> <br />PART 2.
