144. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2004- 83 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT ("CDBG") FUNDED FIRST-TIME HOMEBUYER'S PROGRAM; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. In 2001 the City Council allocated CDBG funding for the establishment of a <br />housing program for moderate income, first-time homeowners. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council wishes to implement a First-Time Homebuyer Program <br />utilizing CDBG funding for qualified households in the City's target area. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1.
