<br />115 I <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1976 - 32 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIlE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF TIlE CITY OF SAN MARCOS TO <br />EXECUTE A QUITCLAIM DEED ON BEHALF OF THE CITY TO TIlE <br />RIGHT-OF-WAY PRESENTLY BEING USED BY TIlE PUBLIC ON THAT <br />PROPERTY Ca.MJNLY KNOWN AS "THE OLD MILL PROPERTY" SITIJATED <br />IN THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, TO THE ABUITING PROPERTY OWNERS, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, Texas has adopted, <br />on May 24, 1976, an ordinance closing and abandoning the right-of-way <br />presently being used by the public on that property commonly known as <br />"the Old Mill Property" situated in the City of San Marcos, Texas; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council by that same ordinance authorized the <br />Mayor to execute a quitclaim deed to said right-of-way to the abutting prcperty <br />owners; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the deed subsequently executed _by the Mayor, .on behalf of the <br />City of San Marcos, contained an incorrect description of the property being <br />quitclaimed by the City; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY TIlE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br /> <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a correction <br />deed to the right-of-way presently being used by the public on that <br />property commonly knOwn as "the Old Mill Property" and situated in the <br />City of San Marcos, Texas. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />SECTION 2.
