<br />r---- -- -- - - - ~~~-- - <br /> <br />144 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1975-50-R <br /> <br />.. <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT TO <br />CLOSE SCHOLLE DRIVE TO THROUGH TRAFFIC <br />BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 2:00 PM TO 5:00 PM <br />ON NOVEMBER 19, 1975, TO ALLOW THE PARKS <br />AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT TO CONDUCT <br />SYATEBOARDING COMPETITION ON SAID STREET. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has requested <br />that it be permitted to conduct skateboard competition in an <br />effort to promote skateboard safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the San Marcos Police Department be, and is <br />hereby, authorized to close Schulle Drive to through traffic <br />between the hours of 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on November 19, 1975, <br />so as to allow the San Marcos Parks and Recreation Department <br />to conduct skateboarding competition on said street. <br /> <br />PART 2.
