<br />131 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1974-45-R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, REQUESTING ENTEX, INC., TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL BILLING <br />INFORMATION TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos feels a responsibility to <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />the citizens in regard to the billing of utilities within the City of San Marcos; <br /> <br />and, <br /> <br />WlIEREAS, it is recognized that the cost of gas has drastically affected base <br /> <br />rates paid by all consumers; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That the City Council of the City of San Marcos respectfully urge <br /> <br />and request that Entex, through its local office located in San Marcos, Texas, <br /> <br />request a monthly statement showing the increased cost of gas by months; that <br /> <br />said increased cost be shown in comparison to base cost figures; and that Entex <br /> <br />provide to the City sufficient computations so that the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of San Marcos can determine the average effect of such increased cost of <br /> <br />I gas on the average retail gas utility bill. <br /> <br />PART 2.
