r 1973 - 41 /65 ORDINANCE I AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THAT ORDINANCE WHICH GRANTS THE AUTHORITY, RIGHT AND PRIVILEGE TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN A CITY-WIDE TELEVISION SIGNAL DISTRIBUTION SERVICE FOR THE DISTRIBUTION OF AUDIO, VIDEO AND RADIO SIGNALS; AND WHICH PROVIDES THE TERMS AND PRO- VISIONS UNDER WHICH SAID SYSTEM SHALL BE OPERATED AND MAINTAINED; BY DELETING THE SECOND SENTENCE OF SECTION 16. THEREOF, RELATING TO THE DURATION OF THE GRANT, AND SUBSTITUTING AN ENTIRELY NEW SENTENCE THEREFOR. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: I. That the present second sentence of Section 16. of that ordinance finally passed, approved and adopted on March 13, 1972, being an ordinance granting the authority, right and privilege to operate a city-wide television signal distribu- tion service of audio, video and radio signals, such ordinance further providing the terms and provisions under which said system shall be operated and maintained, and such grant being in favor of the firm known as Cable TV of San Marcos, Inc., be deleted in full, with an entirely new sentence being substituted therefor, so that said sentence shall henceforth read as follows, Provided, however, this grant shall automatically terminate if Company has not begun installation of the system and the distribution of television signals, as prescribed herein, within a period of one year from the date the last FCC approval of Company's plans under this grant has been given. II. I That, except as hereby amended, said television signal distrubition service ordinance shall otherwise remain unchanged.
