<br />206. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2004- 138 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL CONTRACT <br />WITH FRANK M. SCOTTINO, DBA BRITE RITE CARPET CLEANING AND <br />RESTORATION, FOR THE PROVISION OF CARPET AND FLOOR <br />CLEANING SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS <br />CONTRACT EXTENSION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On September 8, 2003 the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved <br />an annual contract for the provision of carpet and floor cleaning services (the "Contract") <br />with Frank Scottino, dba Brite Rite Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Services. <br /> <br />2. Both parties agree to extend the Contract for an additional year. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The extension of the Contract with Frank Scottino, dba Brite Rite <br />Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Services for the provision of carpet and floor cleaning <br />services for an additional year is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to <br />execute appropriate documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
