RESOLUTION NO. 2008-156R <br />• A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AGREEMENT FOR <br />PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR A JOINT ADVERTISING PROGRAM <br />BETWEEN THE CITY AND SAN MARCOS FACTORY STORES, LTD.; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN THE AGREEMENT; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. In order to ensure the continued success of the San Marcos outlet mall area, and to <br />enhance revenue to the City from tourism and retail business activity, the City has used the <br />professional services and resources of the San Marcos Factory Stores, Ltd. and Prime Outlets-San <br />Marcos GP, LLC ("Prime") for joint advertising programs in the past. <br />2. The City Council wishes to approve the attached agreement, which would continue <br />the joint advertising program the next year. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The attached agreement for professional services for a joint advertising program <br />. between the City and Prime is approved. <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Rick Menchaca, is authorized to execute the attached <br />agreement on behalf of the City. <br />PART 3. This Resolution is in full force and effect upon its adoption. <br />ADOPTED on the 18th day of November, 2008. <br />6v/lv?
