<br />17<1 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2005~ <br /> <br />64 <br /> <br />R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL CONTRACT <br />WITH GENE BAGWELL, DBA MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT FOR THE <br />PROVISION OF JANITORIAL SERVICES; AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT EXTENSION ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On May 12, 2003 the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved an <br />annual contract for the provision of janitorial services (the "Contract") with Gene Bagwell, <br />dba Maintenance Management. <br /> <br />2. <br />facilities. <br /> <br />On January 22, 2004 the Contract was amended to include additional <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />On March 9. 2004 the Contract was extended for an additional year. <br /> <br />4. <br /> <br />Both parties agree to extend the Contract for an additional year. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The extension of the Contract with Gene Bagwell, dba Maintenance <br />Management for the provision of janitorial services is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to <br />execute appropriate documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
