• RESOLUTION 2011- 3 6 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF ANNUAL <br />CONTRACTS WITH KBS ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTORS, INC. AND <br />WITH TEXAS ELECTRIC COOPERATIVES, INC. FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF PAD MOUNTED TRANSFORMERS; AUTHORIZING <br />THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THESE CONTRACT EXTENSIONS ON <br />BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On March 23, 2010 the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved annual <br />contracts for the purchase of pad mounted transformers (IFB 210 -019) with KBS Electrical <br />Distributors, Inc. and Texas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. (the "Contract(s) "). <br />2. The City and both vendors agree to extend the Contracts for an additional year. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The extension of a Contract with KBS Electrical Distributors, Inc. for the <br />purchase of pad mounted transformers is approved. <br />PART 2. The extension of a Contract with Texas Electric Cooperatives, Inc. for the <br />purchase of pad mounted transformers is approved. <br />PART 3. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to execute <br />appropriate documents related to these contract extensions on behalf of the City. <br />PART 4.
