The City Council established a San Marcos Youth Commission in 1999 to further the City's <br />participation in the "America's Promise" program and to promote the healthy development of <br />all youth in the greater San Marcos area. <br /> <br />2. The City Council wishes to amend the ordinance establishing the Youth Commission to add <br />a representative of Central Texas Medical Center and an adult at-large representative. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Sections 2.362 of the City Code is amended as follows (underlining indicates <br />added text; overstrike indicates deleted text): <br /> <br />Sec. 2.362. Established; composition; terms. <br /> <br />(a) The San Marcos Youth Commission is established. The commission is composed of <br />lQ -l4 members appointed by the city council.
