<br />173. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2002- 199 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, DECLARING CERTAIN ELECTRIC UTILITY MONITORING <br />EQUIPMENT TO BE SURPLUS PROPERTY; APPROVING THE SALE OF <br />THE EQUIPMENT TO BLUEBONNET ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos Electric Utility Department has surplus "ILEX" monitoring <br />equipment that is obsolete and no longer of use to the City. <br /> <br />2. Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative currently utilizes ILEX equipment and wishes <br />to purchase this equipment for use as spare parts. <br /> <br />3. The City Council wishes to authorize the sale of the surplus ILEX equipment to <br />Bluebonnet Electric Cooperative. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The Electric Utility Department's surplus ILEX Equipment is declared <br />to be surplus property and of no use to the City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />PART 2. The sale of the surplus ILEX Equipment to Bluebonnet Electric <br />Cooperative for a total of $5,167.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 3.
