<br />226. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2001- 85 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, REJECTING ALL BIDS SUBMITTED FOR THE CROCKETT <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SIDEWALKS & HUTCHISON STREET <br />HANDICAP RAMP PROJECT FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. On April 19, 2001 the City opened bids for the Crockett Elementary School <br />Sidewalks & Hutchison Street Handicap Ramp Project (the "Project") for the Public Works <br />Department. <br /> <br />2. City staff has determined that the bids received exceeded the amount <br />allocated for the construction of the Project. <br /> <br />3. City staff recommends the rejection of all bids for the Project. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. All bids received in response to an invitation for bids for the Project are <br />rejected. <br /> <br />PART 2.
