<br />18. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2000- <br /> <br />46 <br /> <br />R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF SEVENTEEN LAW <br />ENFORCEMENT AND SPECIAL PURSUIT VEHICLES FOR THE POLICE <br />DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE STATE GENERAL SERVICES <br />COMMISSION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br />PURCHASING DOCUMENTS WITH THE STATE ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The purchase of two special pursuit utility vehicles for the Police <br />Departmentfrom Lawrence Marshall Chev-Olds DCPJE, Inc. through the General Services <br />Commission for a total of $38,050.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The purchase of one special pursuit utility vehicle for the Police <br />Departmentfrom Lawrence Marshall Chev-Olds DCPJE, Inc. through the General Services <br />Commission for a total of $19,999.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 3. The purchase of fourteen special pursuit vehicles for the Police <br />Department from Village Ford of Lewisville through the General Services Commission for <br />a total of $289,912.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 4. The City Manager, Larry Gilley is authorized to execute appropriate <br />purchasing documents with the State on behalf' of the City. <br /> <br />PART 5.
