SectIOn 2.362 of the CIty Code IS amended as follows (underlmmg <br />mdlcates added text; overstrike mdlcates deleted text) <br /> <br />Sec. 2.362. Established; composition, terms. <br /> <br />(a) The San Marcos Youth CommIssIOn IS estabhshed. The commISSIOn IS composed of <br />seven ffifle members appomted by the CIty councIl and shall consIst of two three persons <br />representmg youth-servmg agenCIes and five 5i* at-large pOSItIons. In makmg <br />appomtments to the commISSIOn, the councIl may appoint youth members to any <br />pOSItIon. <br /> <br />(b) Members of the commISSIOn are appomted by the CIty councIl for terms of three <br />years. Youth members must be at least 11 years of age. Youth members are appOInted <br />for terms of one year, and are exempt from the hmltatIOns on servmg succeSSIve terms of <br />office m SectIOn 2.068 of thIS Code. Members WIll serve untIl theIr successors are <br />appomted and quahfied. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. If any word, phrase, clause, sentence, or paragraph of thIS ordmance IS <br />held to be unconstItutIOnal or mvahd by a court of competent JUrIsdIctIOn, the other prOVlSlons <br />of thIS ordmance will contmue m force If they can be gIven effect WIthout the mvahd portIOn. <br /> <br />SECTION 3. All ordmances and resolutIOn or parts of ordmances or resolutIOns m <br />conflIct WIth thIS ordmance are repealed. <br />
