RESOLUTION 2011- 148 R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A THIRD AMENDED AND RESTATED <br />CONTRACT FOR COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF SOLID WASTE AND RECYCLABLE <br />MATERIALS WITH TEXAS DISPOSAL SYSTEMS, INC. PROVIDING FOR THE USE OF <br />DUMPSTERS FOR MULTI - FAMILY UNIT RECYCLING; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE <br />DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. Texas Disposal waste has requested that they be able to use Recycling Dumpsters at Multi- <br />family Units due to requests for larger recycling receptacles that they have received from Multi- family <br />Unit customers. <br />2. Permitting TDS to provide Recycling Dumpsters will not result in a rate increase to the Multi- <br />family customers. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS <br />PART 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute the attached Third Amended and <br />Restated Contract for Collection and Disposal of Solid Waste and Recyclable Materials with Texas <br />Disposal Systems, Inc. Agreement on behalf of the City. <br />PART 2.
