<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />112. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 166 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MARCOS <br />HISP ANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR A MINORITY <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR FISCAL YEAR <br />2004-2005; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT, AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos desires to enter into a direct contract with the San Marcos <br />Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for fiscal year 2004-2005, in order to promote orderly and <br />responsible economic development for the San Marcos geographic area. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached agreement between the City of San Marcos and the San Marcos <br />Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for a minority economic development program for fiscal year 2004- <br />2005 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager of the City of San Marcos, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to <br />execute the Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage. <br /> <br />ADOPTED on September 27 i 2004 <br /> <br />.
