<br />, <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />144. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004- 171 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND <br />CONDITIONS OF A CONTRACT FOR PUBLIC HEALTH <br />SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE TEXAS <br />DEPARTMENT OF STATE HEALTH SERVICES; <br />AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE <br />AGREEMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City contracts annually with the Texas Department of State Health Services for the <br />Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (the "WIC Program") in <br />Hays, Caldwell, Bastrop, Comal and Guadalupe Counties. <br /> <br />2. The City Council wishes to authorize continuation of the WIC Program in the City's <br />2004-2005 fiscal year. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />P ART 1. The attached Contract for Public Health Services between the City of San Marcos <br />and the Texas Department of State Health Services is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute the attached contract on <br />behalf of the City. <br /> <br />P ART 3.
