51 RESOLUTION NO. 1982-7R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING FINAL PAYMENT TO DAVID VENHUIZEN FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES CONNECTED WITH DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY GRANT NO. 80R612066, "SOLAR POWERED WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT" AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City of San Marcos, Texas, and David Venhuizen, by Letter of Agreement of September 23, 1980, and amendments thereof dated March 2, 1981, and March 18, 1981, have contracted for consultant services related to the design of facilities, the design and implementation of experiments, the construction of facilities and the collection of data connected with Department of Energy Grant No. 80R612066, "Solar Powered Was tewa ter Trea t- ment Plant"; and, WHEREAS, David Venhuizen has substantially complied with the requirements of said Letter of Agreement and amendments there- of; and, WHEREAS, the United States Department of Energy, by letter dated December 3, 1981, has accepted said grant as complete; and, WHEREAS, David Venhuizen, by letter dated January 26, 1982, has requested final payment for said services in the amount of Two Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($2,200); now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN M~RCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. That payment in the amount of Two Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($2,200.00) to David Venhuizen for consultant services pursuant to that Letter of Agreement of September 23, 1980, and amendments of March 2, 1981, and March 18, 1981, between the City of San Marcos and David Venhuizen, is hereby authorized. PART 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its passage. ADOPTED this 8th day of February 7~ ~ . ~ddOCk Mayor , 1982. Attest: City
