111 ORDINANCE NO. 1982-38 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING OR- DINANCE 1978-43 WHICH DETERMINED APPROPRIA- TIONS FOR REVENUE SHARING ENTITLEMENT 10 TO INCLUDE THE PAVING OF COERS STREET AND TRAFFIC SIGNALIZATION MODIFICATIONS AT GUADALUPE AND HOPKINS STREETS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos, on September 13, 1978, adopted the budget for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1978, and ending on September 30, 1979; and, WHEREAS, that budget appropriated funds from Revenue Sharing Entitlement 10; and, WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Marcos de- sires to amend appropriations made in said ordinance; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance 1978-43, adopted September 13, 1978, be amended as set forth in Exhibit A which is attached hereto and incorporated herein for all intents and purposes. SECTION 2. That the said revisions and reappropriations of the amended Revenue Sharing Entitlement 10 are hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. That the importance of this Ordinance creates an emergency and an imperative purpose necessary that the provi- sions of the charter requiring that ordinances shall be read at three separate meetings and that no ordinance shall become effective until the expiration of ten (10) days following the date of its final passage be suspended, and these provisions are hereby suspended, and this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its adoption and publication in a newspaper of general circulation within the City. 23rd day of August PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED 1982.
