<br />94 <br /> <br />1982-67R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN !,ffiRCOS, TEXAS, }\JOIUNA'T.'ING <br />A CANDIDATE TO FILL A VACANCY ON THE <br />BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE HAYS COUNTY <br />CENTRAL APPRAISAL DISTRICT AND DECLARING <br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San !larcos, Texas, has been notif ied <br />by the Board of Directors of the Hays County Central Appraisal <br />District that, effective January 1, 1983, there will be a <br />vacancy on said Board of Directors; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San ~~arcos is a taxing unit en- <br />titled to vote for directors of the appraisal district; and, <br /> <br />\qHEREAS, pursuant to Section 6.03(h) of the Texas Property <br />Tax Code, said City has the right to nominate a candinate to <br />fill said vacancy; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San .~~arcos <br />desires to nominate such a candidate; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, said candidate meets eligibility reauirements <br />for membership on said Board of Directors as set by Section <br />6.03(a) of the Texas Property Tax Code; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. That Ruben Rui z, Sr. be, and he is here- <br />by, nominated for a position on the Board of Directors, Havs <br />County Central Appraisal District. <br /> <br />PART 2. That the name of Ruben Ruiz, Sr. be sub- <br />mitted forthwith to Lydell Clayton, County Clerk for Hays <br />County, Texas. <br /> <br />PART 3.
