<br />96. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999- <br /> <br />14 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING A SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE <br />CITY AND HABITAT FOR HUMANITY FOR FISCAL YEAR 1998 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS; AUTHORIZING <br />THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF <br />THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City Council approved the allocation of $20,000.00 of Fiscal Year 1998 <br />Entitlement Community Development Block Grants funds to Habitat for Humanity for the <br />provision of new housing construction for low to moderate income persons in the San <br />Marcos community. <br /> <br />2. The City Council wishes to disperse these allocated grant funds by authorizing <br />execution of the attached Sub recipient Agreement. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The attached Subrecipient Agreement between the City and Habitat <br />for Humanity for the provision of new housing construction for low to moderate income <br />persons is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br />Agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3.
