<br />20 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999 -38 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AWARDING A CONTRACT TO COOPER EQUIPMENT COMPANY <br />FOR THE PURCHASE OF A CURB AND GUTTER PAVER, A SELF- <br />PROPELLED ASPHALT PAVER AND AN ASPHALT DISTRIBUTOR FOR <br />THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING <br />MANAGER TO EXECUTE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The award of a contract to Cooper Equipment Company for the <br />purchase of a curb and gutter paver for the Public Works Department in the amount of <br />$73,351.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The award of a contract to Cooper Equipment Company for the <br />purchase of a self-propelled asphalt paver for the Public Works Department in the amount <br />of $171,372.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 3. The award of a contract to Cooper Equipment Company for the <br />purchase of an asphalt distributor for the Public Works Department in the amount of <br />$92,252.00 is approved. <br /> <br />PART 4. Purchase of these items is contingent upon the City Council's <br />approval of a lease-purchase agreement with the Associates. <br /> <br />PART 5. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to <br />execute appropriate contract documents on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 6.
