<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1980-83-R <br /> <br />92 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SAN ~ffiRCOS, TEXAS, AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR OF SAID CITY TO WRITE A LETTER IN <br />SUPPORT OF THE CHAM.BER OF COHHERCE I S EFFORTS <br />TO LOCATE A TEXAS EMPLOYMENT COMMISSION OFFICE <br />IN SAN MARCOS. <br /> <br />l~EREAS, the number of industrial employers have increased ln <br />the City of San Marcos; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the employable population of San Marcos has increased <br />and will continue to increase; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Harcos is one of the largest towns in <br />the state of Texas that does not have a Texas Employment Commission <br />office; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: <br /> <br />That the mayor of said City be authorized to write a letter in <br />support of the Chamber of Commerce's efforts to have a Texas <br />Employment Commission office located within the City limits of the <br />City of San Marcos. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 24th day of November, 1980. <br /> <br />!~ ~ ~OJJA. <br />IKenne~~.
