Gonzalez <br />Doriss Hambrick <br />Barbara Edwards <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />Council Member <br /> <br />Tess Norris <br /> <br />Also Present: Frank Wagner, Sharyl Werner, David Lewis and others. <br /> <br />The Mayor called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration a Resolution, the caption <br />of which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THECITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, AUTHORIZING FREE PARKING IN METERED PARKING STALLS <br />IN THE CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT FROM FRIDAY, DECEMBER 12, <br />1980 THROUGH SATURDAY, JANAURY 17, 1981; AND DECLARING AN <br />EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Stokes moved to adopt the Resolution. Mr. Brown seconded the <br />motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Council recessed to executive session at 5:10 p.m. on motion <br />of Mr. James and second of Mr. Brown. The Council reconvened in <br />regular session at 6:00 p.m. on motion of Mr. James and second of <br />Mr. Stokes. Mr. James moved to instruct the City Manager to proceed <br />with securing option on Lots 13 and 14 in the Sunset Acres Addition. <br />Mr. Brown seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor introduced for consideration a Resolution, the caption <br />of which was read as follows: <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN ~ffiRCOS, <br />TEXAS, TO COMMIT FUNDS FOR A FIRE SUB-STATION IN THE SOUTHERN <br />PART OF SAN MARCOS AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />Mr. Brown moved to adopt the Resolution. Mr. Tarbutton seconded <br />the motion, which passed unanimously. <br /> <br />The Mayor stated that no action was taken on the personnel iteM. <br /> <br />The meeting adjourned at 6:05 p.m. on motion of Mr. James and second <br />of Mr. Tarbutton. <br /> <br />'Iw~ <br /> <br />Karl W.
