<br />169 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 1999- .1.4..8....R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, DESIGNATING CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AS VOTING <br />DELEGATE AND ALTERNATE VOTING DELEGATE FOR THE CITY AT <br />THE ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING OF THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF <br />CITIES TO BE HELD IN DECEMBER, 1999; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR <br />TO EXECUTE ANY DOCUMENTS INCIDENT TO THE DESIGNATIONS, <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br />1. The City of San Marcos, Texas, is a member of the National League of Cities. <br /> <br />2. The annual business meeting of the Congress of Cities is to be held in <br />December, 1999 in Los Angeles, California. <br /> <br />3. <br />meeting. <br /> <br />The City of San Marcos, Texas, is entitled to cast one (1) vote at that <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. Rick Hernandez is designated as the voting <br />delegate for the City at the annual business meeting of the National League of Cities to be <br />held in December, 1999. <br /> <br />PART 2. Joe B. Cox. Jr. <br />voting delegate for the City at that meeting. <br /> <br />is designated as the alternate <br /> <br />PART 3. The Mayor, Billy G. Moore, is authorized to execute any documents <br />incident to these designations. <br /> <br />PART 4.
