<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2006- 146 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, APPROVING THE EXTENSION OF AN ANNUAL CONTRACT <br />WITH COLORADO MATERIALS, LTD. FOR THE PROVISION OF HOT <br />MIX-HOT LAY ASPHALTIC CONCRETE; AUTHORIZING THE <br />PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE <br />DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THIS CONTRACT EXTENSION ON BEHALF <br />OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECIT ALS: <br /> <br />1. On October 4, 2006 the City Council of the City of San Marcos approved an <br />annual contract for the provision of hot mix-hot lay asphaltic concrete (the "Contract") with <br />Colorado Materials, Ltd. <br /> <br />2. Both parties agree to extend the Contract for an additional year. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1. The extension of the Contract with Colorado Materials, Ltd. for the <br />provision of hot mix-hot lay asphaltic concrete is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to execute <br />appropriate documents related to this contract extension on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />PART 3. <br />after its passage. <br /> <br />This Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and <br /> <br />ADOPTED this the 19th day of September, 2006. <br /> <br />.. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br /> <br />Susan Narvaiz <br />Mayor <br /> <br />( <br /> <br />
