<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />72. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 2006- 1 07 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS, REJECTING BIDS SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO AN <br />INVIT A TION FOR BIDS FOR THE PURCHASE OF SINGLE PHASE PAD <br />MOUNTED TRANSFORMERS FOR USE BY THE ELECTRIC UTILITY <br />DEP ARTMENT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECIT ALS: <br /> <br />1. On March 2, 2006 the City received six bids for the purchase of single phase pad <br />mounted transformers for use by the Electric Utility Department (IFB 26-032). <br /> <br />2. After bids were received in response to IFB 26-032, it was determined that the <br />Electric Utility Department lacked the necessary funds for the purchase of the transformers. <br /> <br />3. The bids expired before the Electric Utility Department could appropriate the <br />necessary funds and, therefore, must be rejected. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />PART 1.
