RESOLUTION 2012 -87R <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br />MARCOS, TEXAS, REJECTING BIDS RECEIVED IN RESPONSE TO <br />AN INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR THE EDDIE DURHAM PARK <br />PROJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />RECITALS: <br />1. On June 21, 2012 the City received four bids in response to an Invitation for Bids <br />(IFB 212 -040) for the Eddie Durham Park Project (the "Project "). <br />2. After review of the bids, the City determined that all bids exceed the current <br />amount budgeted for the Project and that proceeding with an award of a construction contract for <br />the Project at this time is not in the City's best interest. <br />3. The City will solicit bids for the Project in the future. <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br />PART 1. The bids received in response to IFB 212 -040 for the Eddie Durham Park <br />Project are rejected. <br />PART 2.
