RESOLUTION 2006 . 201 R I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF THREE PARCELS OF RIGHT-OF-WAY TOTALING 8.5298 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, IN CONNECTION WITH THE WONDER WORLD DRIVE EXTENSION PROJECT AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS IN CONNCETION WITH THIS PURCHASE; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. Pursuant with the Wonder World Drive Extension Pass-Through Toll Agreement between the City 01 San Marcos and the Texas Department of Transportation, the City is responsible lor acquiring the right-ol-way lor the project. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: PART 1. The following purchases of right-of-way in connection with the Wonder world Drive Extension Project are hereby approved: I A. Parcel No.1, 1.1539 acres, more or less, as depicted on the attached Parcel 01, owned by Frost National Bank as Trustee for Freeman Education Foundation, for $21,649.00 plus approximately 18% for closing costs; B. Parcel No.2, 6.4500 acres, more or less, as depicted on the attached Parcel 02, owned by Frost National Bank as Trustee for Freeman Education Foundation, for $112,099.00 plus approximately 18% for closing costs; C. Parcel No. 11, 0.9259 acres, more or less, as depicted on the attached Parcel 11, owned by Randall Morris, for $35,000.00 plus approximately 18% for closing costs. PART 2. The City Manager, Dan O'Leary, is authorized to execute all necessary documents in connection with the right-of-way purchase described above on behalf of the City. PART 3.
