25, <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003- 7 3 R <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING A WAIVER OF PERMIT <br />FEES FOR HABITAT FOR HUMANITY - SAN MARCOS AREA; <br />AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />RECITALS: <br /> <br /> 1. Habitat for Humanity - San Marcos Area has requested a waiver of the City's <br />development fees for new single-family homes to be constructed by it in the City in calendar year <br />2003. <br /> <br /> 2. The City Council wishes to support the affordable housing efforts of Habitat for <br />Humanity- San Marcos Area, and is willing to grant the fee waiver request. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br /> PART 1. The waiving of development fees, including contractor licensing fees, and <br />excluding utility impact fees, that would be assessed during the remainder of calendar year 2003 in <br />connection with the construction of single-family homes in the City by Habitat for Humanity - San <br />Marcos Area is approved. <br /> <br />PART 2.
