<br /> 75 <br /> RESOLUTION 1998- 177 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS, APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF A LETTER <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND WESCO DISTRIBUTION, INC. <br /> TO EXTEND THE ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF <br /> ELECTRIC METERS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE <br /> THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On October 14, 1997 the City of San Marcos entered into a contract for the <br /> provision of electric meters (the "Contract") with WESCO Distribution, Inc. <br /> 2. Both parties agree to an extension of the Contract for an additional year. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. The attached letter agreement between the City of San Marcos and <br /> WESCO Distribution, Inc. to extend the term of the Contract is approved. <br /> PART 2. The City Manager, Larry D. Gilley, is authorized to execute the <br /> agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> PART 3.
