<br /> 15. <br /> RESOLUTION 1998-22LR <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS ESTABLISHING A BOND OVERSIGHT <br /> COMMITTEE IN CONNECTION WITH BONDS APPROVED IN THE <br /> NOVEMBER 3, 1998 SPECIAL CITY ELECTION; AND DECLARING <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. The San Marcos Council of Neighborhood Associations has requested the City <br /> Council to establish an oversight committee regarding the bonds recently approved by the <br /> voters at the November 3, 1998 special election. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. A Bond Oversight Committee is established in connection with the bonds <br /> recently approved by the voters at the November 3, 1998 special election. This Committee <br /> consists of seven members appointed by the City Council. Members of the Committee <br /> serve at the will ofthe Council. The Council will make appointments to fill vacancies on the <br /> Committee. <br /> PART 2. The purpose of the Committee is to serve as an advisory body to the City <br /> Council on the implementation of the projects included in the bonds approved by the voters <br /> at the November 3, 1998 special election. The Committee will: <br /> . receive copies of staff reports concerning progress of the projects <br /> . provide advice to the City Council on the projects <br /> PART 3.
