<br /> 30. <br /> RESOLUTION 1998- 229 R <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN <br /> MARCOS, TEXAS, REJECTING ALL BIDS SUBMITTED FOR THE <br /> CLEANING AND EXTENSION OF DRAINAGE CHANNELS PROJECT; AND <br /> DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> RECITALS: <br /> 1. On September 19, 1998 the City opened bids for the Cleaning and Extension <br /> of drainage Channels Project (the "Project"). <br /> 2. Both bids received exceeded the construction budget for the Project. <br /> 3. City staff and the City Engineer, Donald Meneley, recommend rejection of all <br /> bids. <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, <br /> TEXAS: <br /> PART 1. All bids received in response to an invitation for bids for the completion <br /> of the Cleaning and Extension of Drainage Channels Project are rejected. <br /> PART 2.
