I I I RESOLUTION 2007- 100 R A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING RESOLUTION 2007-73R AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF EIGHT FULL SIZE CROWN VICTORIA PURSUIT VEHICLES FROM SAM PACK'S FIVE STAR FORD FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT THROUGH THE TEXAS BUILDING AND PROCUREMENT COMMISSION TO INCREASE THE DOLLAR AMOUNT OF THE PURCHASE; AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE APPROPRIATE PURCHASING DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CITY AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. RECITALS: 1. On April 17, 2007 the City Council approved Resolution 2007-73R which authorized the purchase of eight full size Crown Victoria pursuit vehicles for the Police Department in the amount of $150,848.00 from Sam Pack's Five Star Ford through the Texas Building and Procurement Commission ("TBPC"). 2. Subsequent to that approval and after contacting the vendor, City staff determined that the City inadvertently chose an option from the TBPC contract which deleted the power package on the vehicles ("Option 87"). 3. $260.00. The deletion of Option 87 will increase the cost of each of the vehicles by 4. vehicles. The City wishes to delete Option 87 and proceed with the order of the eight BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS: P ART 1. Resolution 2007- 72R which authorized the purchase of eight full size Crown Victoria pursuit vehicles for the Police Department in the amount of $150,848.00 from Sam Pack's Five Star Ford through the TBPC is amended to increase the total amount of the purchase order from $150,848.00 to $152,928.00. PART 2. The Purchasing Manager, Cheryl Pantermuehl, is authorized to execute the appropriate purchasing documents on behalf of the City. PART 3. after its passage. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately from and ADOPTED this the 5th day of June, 2007.
